Inspo In The Little Things

What’s up, Merbabes?! Today’s post is all about inspiration — we know it has been a bit harder to find lately and we’re hoping to help you out with that.

So without further ado, here’s a list of things, places, and people for finding and sparking inspiration!

Pinterest

Of course Pinterest is on this list — but we’re sure you figured as much! We want you to get all you can out of our Pinterest, so we consistently pin our designs, products, and our own inspiration. Pinterest is the hub for motivational quotes, aesthetic visuals, recipes, etc. so take advantage! We’ve linked some of our inspo boards below:

Artists & Designers

One of the most organic ways of finding inspiration is through local artists or designers that create work you believe in, fits your aesthetic, or is just plain fun to look at! As creatives, it can be so rewarding to find new people or businesses that seem to channel exactly what you’re looking for. Below are some of our new-found favorites:

Mary Kate McDevitt: illustrator & letterer

Paula Scher: graphic designer & painter

Meghan Wallace: illustrator

Tyler Blinderman: illustrator & designer

Some of the best places to find new creative people or businesses are Dribbble, Behance, Society6, and Redbubble!

Podcasts

Podcasts are a great way to spark inspiration. You can basically pick and choose conversations you want to be apart of, so look out for series that encourage, motivate, and demonstrate creativity. We’ve listed a few of our office favorites below:

Reads

Investing yourself in a good book is a great way to spark inspiration! If you’re feeling stuck, look to your favorite authors or series for ideas. Whether magazines or novels are your game, you’re sure creativity thrives in a good read! Here are some of our office favs:

Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert

The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky

How to Win Friends & Influence People by Dale Carnegie

Girl in Translation by Jean Kwok

We Got This, Sis

It’s no secret that uncertainty dulls inspiration, creativity, and motivation but we want you to know that we fully support each and every one of you. We’ve got your back, and We Got This, Sis. Our new tee is printed backward for all of your at-home mirror selfie needs! This tee is sure to inspire 💖🤗.
