Q. What has your experience been working at Disney?

A.  In a word: magical! I am a part of the Disney College program. I am a merchandise cast member at Magic Kingdom and I absolutely love it! I’m humbled to be able to make magic and create happiness everyday. Just the other day I was able to present a Mickey plush to a make a wish child, and her hugs of pure happiness just made my heart so full! It’s those little miracles that make me love working at Disney so much. I have learned a lot, made lifelong friends and career connections, and have had so much fun living at the happiest place on earth!

Q. Tell us about your involvement with Her Campus!

A. I first became involved with Her Campus on my college campus when I hosted a Back to school event with Teen Vogue and involved them with marketing it. I joined as a writer and when the current campus correspondent graduated, I became president. As president, I am in charge of recruitment, marketing, and social media! I built my chapter up to a pink level- the highest honor given by HC nationals. The last 3 summers I have attended HerConference in New York City and gotten to meet “collegiettes” and professionals all over the country. The organization inspires me to be my best and to follow my dreams!

Q. What is your number one beauty staple?

A.  A smile and my moisturizer because nothing else leaves me glowing and confident for every interaction I have that day!

Q. What is your best piece of advice for young women?

A. That you are beautiful just the way you are! Believe in your dreams and stay confident. You can accomplish anything you set your mind to and it’s never too late to chase a new dream. And most of all, support and love your fellow sisters! One woman can make a difference, but together we can rock the world!!!
